All of these images are created by moving the camera as the shot is taken. The blurring effect therefore happens in the camera and is not created in photoshop or any other similar software application. I use Captureone software to add contrast and colour saturation to my images which just enhances what the camera saw during the process of capturing the shot.

I use Hoya neutral density filters to reduce the light coming into the camera so that I can decrease the shutter speed of the camera to a couple of seconds or longer. I’m happy to be a Hoya ambassador and recommend their filters for this technique. For more information about Hoya. Over the years I’ve used Sony cameras but now I use Fujifilm cameras to create these images.
